Introduction
The Oculus Quest 2 has many screws and clips, but very little adhesive. It’s quite easy to disassemble as long as you keep track of all the screws.

One side at a time, insert a pick next to the nosepiece, slide it to the edge and pry.

When both sides are loose, carefully lift the cover out.

Lift the clip and pull the flex cable out. It is lightly adhered to the headset.

Insert a pick and pry at these four spots to release the clips.

Lift the front cover away from the headset.
-

1x T2 screw

17x P0 screws

Unplug the fan.
-
Unplug the top and front antennas.
-
Lift the front LED from the fan cover.
-
Remove the metal shield and front antenna.
-
Lift the top of the headset case to release the fan cover.
-

Unplug all the cables.

Unplug top antenna.
-
1x 3.6mm hex screw
-
4x P0 screws
-
Remove the heatsink.
-
4x P0 screws
-

Lift the midframe away from the case.
-
Four P0 screws hold the battery in place.
-
Four more screws on each arm/speaker. The arms require further disassembly to remove.

The screen and lenses require further disassembly to remove.
