Likely the most important overlook in this video, that it SHOULD be removed in one piece. Instead of cutting into the Alcantara, angle a blade on an angle, and get under the "rivets". Not only does it make the process 100 times easier imo, but it helps keep the Alcantara undamaged!

Please note the keyboard frame and back plate can be removed as one piece
