Teardown

Introduction

Extremely simple teardown instructions. Note that it looks like you'll need a DIY solution to re-seal the enclosure.

This teardown is not a repair guide. To repair your INFIYA Z1, use our service manual.

  1. INFIYA Z1 Teardown, Mask Camera Lense: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Not shown - cut around the lense so that the tape remains in place when you remove the faceplate.

    • Carefully remove the LED 'plug' as shown

    • Use a tool to carefully lever the faceplate away from the body of the device. Peel the face plate off - It acts like a giant sticker. Remove it slowly to avoid tearing / leaving residue.

    • There are 4 phillips head screws. Remove them.

    • Carefully remove the front cover of the enclosure. There are several wires attached.

    • Use a small flat head screwdriver to pop out the two non-ribbon connectors that connect the body of the camera to the front cover.
