What you need

This teardown is not a repair guide. To repair your Fitbit Charge HR, use our service manual.

Step 1 Remove Screws

Take the 4 Screws out of the Sides you will need a T3 star Screw Driver

You Pry out the Main board you can see the Metal Hooks

You can Then pull out the Screws from around the Screen

Can the battery be replaced?

Mine was just over a year old (barely out of warranty) when it died. The Fitbit folks were kind enough to replace it anyway once I expressed my displeasure. I'd haggle with them a bit before going the DIY route but I'm definitely keeping my old one for spare parts. Hopefully someone will point out an aftermarket battery source before I need to do that.

The screws in mine were Torx T-2, not T-3.

The button is stuck in my ChargeHR. I bought the T3 screwdriver and it is too big. Either the screws are T2 or my screwdriver is too much imprecise.

Anyone fixed a stuck button?
