Teardown

Introduction

Today we'll be tearing down a Toshiba 2.5" SATA drive. WARNING: YOUR DRIVE WILL NOT WORK AFTER THIS

This teardown is not a repair guide. To repair your 2.5" Toshiba SATA Hard Drive, use our service manual.

1. Step 1 The Logic Board
  Unscrew the Phillips screws holding the logic board to the metal case.

3. Step 2 The Back Cover
  Unscrew the 7 screws circled in red. Note that you must peel off the sticker covering the screw closest to the middle (I already did it)
  
  Lift the cover off.
