iPhone 4S Battery Replacement

10 - 30 minutes

Moderate

My Problem

My phone got wet, my fault, ouch. The home button stopped working then started working too well, all by itself.

My Fix

Fast and super easy with the guide. Took about 35 minutes to get it all apart and about the same to get it back together.

My Advice

If you replace 1 part you should just replace the other components surrounding it, because chances are they'll have issues too. Especially with water damage. My phone started to act up again so I narrowed it down to the port connector which actually connects to the home button ribbon cable. So lesson learned, spend the extra money up front and don't run the risk of having to teardown the phone again!
