Refurbish

Dennis Portello -

My Problem

Bloated battery and dead fans, I had a top of the line 2010 MBP that was getting long-in-tooth. My wife had accidentally destroyed her MBP last year so I decided to refurbish mine and give it to her. The battery was hardly holding a charge and started to bloat. The cooling fans were making a lot of noise, and I think one of them had already failed.

My Fix

The repair was very easy. Don't let the internal batteries of newer MBPs intimidate you, they're relatively easy to replace. The fans were very straightforward as well.

My Advice
