Needed to adjust the screw that calibrates the sensitivity of the click on a Macbook Pro 5,1
My Fix
Splendidly. A quarter-turn with the y-wing screwdriver did the trick, and my trackpad is perfectly responsive again.
My Advice
A slightly larger y-wing screwdriver would actually be the perfect fit for the late 2008 Macbook Pro (5,1) I believe it's a #3. Still, this kit is very high quality and worth having on hand if you do a lot of repairs.
