My Problem
The glass was shattered and the digitizer did not function properly.
My Fix
Even though it took many hours and patience everything went better than expected.
My Advice
If the glass on the ipad is completely shattered keep in mind to be careful with the wifi antenna, and the front camera. Make sure to get off all the adhesive that keeps the glass in place. Once that is done it is really easy to remove the broken digitizer assembly.
