A sad day

My Problem

I was just about to boot up my BRAND NEW copy of Marvel Lego and BOOM! Ol' Boxy took the final turn..but then, Ifixit, a solution that isn't a towel? Would Boxy make it? Would I play Marvel, and can I, the son of a simple truck driver be able to pull this off without scratching the motherboard?

My Fix

Tense moments passed as I followed the guide. Luckily it was simple to follow with plenty of tie ins to other articles of help. My shaky hands became familiar with Boxy's most delicate workings as i gently rubbed off her old paste, applied new and firmly tightened down her heatsinks. I gave a final sigh as i replaced her cover and thought 'Now we see'. The plugs slid in, first power, then AV and my shivering finger pressed the switch. AHA! GREEN! YAY!!!! BOXY LIVES! Iron Man shall battle brickish evil!

My Advice

Prying off the X-Clamps is a nerve racking experience, put a piece of cardboard on the bottom of the motherboard to cover the sensitive parts during this and the tightening of the screws, you may never slip but it makes you feel safe.
