My Advice
I'm coming up on 25 years in the computer industry and thought it was time that I treated myself to a nice set of tools instead of the usual hodge podge collection that i've acquired over the years. Until now I've either made the tool I needed or adapted another tool and repurposed it for my uses. I thought it would be a nice treat to have a nice new toolset that all went neatly into a package. I'm so happy with the new tools (I slept with them under my pillow for the first few nights shhh) Very high quality and I look forward to expanding and upgrading till I've got the mother load. I have never bought a set and considering my time-in the business really can't believe it hadn't occurred to me to do so. I was very happy with the selection and service. It arrived in a timely manner and was elated with this follow up email. I'm a long time fan of iFixit and use you solely for repairs parts.You always have the first guide available and I trust your guides to lead me with everything that I do. Even if it's something i'm familiar with I'll still navigate to your site just to see if there's a new trick or something that may have been updated. I used to cringe when I had to open something new and was unsure how it came apart or better yet, goes back together. With you by my side I fear NO job and walk with the confidence to repair anything.
I truly believe you get what you pay for. On days I've not been available, orders were placed with other (Lesser quality) vendors and I always find myself having to replace said part again for lack of quality. I recommend you to any and everyone that asks (and they ask a lot). keep up the good work and i'm sure someone will be dropping their device right around the corner. :) Happy repairing!
