Whip it destroyed my iPad

My Problem

My wife decided after watching "The Big Bang Theory" to get the whip it app and put it on her iPad, after a couple of cracks of the whip so to speak, her iPad slipped out of her hands and smack right on my iPad shattering the screen and damaging the bezel.

My Fix

After getting the iPad screen assembly and replacement kit and bezel from the iFixit store, following the guide on the website and carefully working around the tricky bits ie the wifi antenna, the screen was off and cleaned up new bezel on and new screen on job done.

My Advice

Just try it, follow the excellent guide on the iFixit site it is spot on
