My Problem
I owned 3 older iPhones (2 3GS and 1 3G) and the batteries really held no charge anymore. Since they are the only unlocked iPhones I have, they were going to be very useful for our Europe trip!
My Fix
Replaced all 3 batteries, and found that one wouldn't take a charge and kept rebooting my iPhone. iFixit sent me a replacement the same day (Friday), and I got it by Monday. All 3 phones are like new now (Besides being all scuffed up still...)
My Advice
If the fix doesn't work, iFixit will help!
