Someone added a latte to their Macbook Air and now I have a new Macbook Air!

My Problem

a user spilled a latte into their keyboard and while it was pretty well contained in the keyboard, it was not useable as a portable device. She bought a new one so we fixed this one.

My Fix

Overall it went well. It gave me an excuse to buy some new tools. I popped the whole hinge off the track pad ribbon connector and that took a LONG time to put back on, but it's back together and good as new.

My Advice

Help others spill drinks into their new devices and get yourself a brand new device on the cheap!
