My Problem
My colleague told me of his problem of a broken screen in his iPod video, and I volunteered to fix it for him.
My Fix
I took it apart before ordering a new one to see how it would go and if I had all the proper tools. The guide was spot on and made the tear down relatively simple. I have fixed iPod touches befor and this was WAY easier. The ribbons are not soldered but clipped instead. The guides from ifixit are great!
My Advice
I would advise anyone thinking of fixing an iPod video, to do it. You just need a little patience and ability to follow the instructions in the guide. It's pretty easy.
