MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Late 2008 and Early 2009 LCD Replacement

Very difficult

My Problem

LCD on MacBookPro was damaged and didn´t work properly

My Fix

Like a charm!

It was a bit hard no exactly know how much heating had to be done to ensure that display glam could be removed from adhesive edge around the display. I think I accidently heated it too much and a huall area of the glam became a bit "blurry". No worries though. I followed the iFixIt guide for the process and it was worlking really well. Some of the pictures did not match the look of my MacBookPro, but I figured it out anyway. All in all a successive repair and it now works like a new MacBookPro :)

My Advice

Especially how much heating needed to be done. That was tricky. And very difficult to deattatch the display glass from adhesive area. All the rest was a piece of cake!
