Nexus 7 screen lift and creaking problem

vpasx -

My Problem

My new Asus Nexus 7 had the known screen lift and creaking problem.

Instead of return the product to the store where I bought it asking for replacement, I tried to repair the problem in order to save time.

My Fix

Unfortunately, I was not able to fix the problem.

I opened the tablet very easy and smoothly (without scratches or damages) using the appropriate plastic tool that came with my iFix toolbox.

I tightened all the screws using the appropriate Phillips screwdriver and I closed the tablet.

The process went well without having particularly problems or have the tablet been damaged, but the "creaking" problem still remains.

I have to mention that I have tried all the solutions that I found on the Internet except the one with the glue which, in my humble opinion, must be the only permanent solution to the screen lift and creaking problem.

My Advice

Do not try to self-repair the "creaking" problem of Nexus 7.

You are going to wasted your time.

I have tried all the solutions that I found on the Internet except the one with the glue.

None of them solved the problem permanently.

My advice. Return the product to Asus or Google or to the store where you bought it and ask for a replacement.
