My Problem
I broke my daughters ipad screen so I had to fix it.
local repair shop wanted almost as much as a new ipad mini to replace the screen .
My Fix
in the end it went well , but i sliced the wifi cable so had to replace that too.
speaker cable also was a PITA and the crimps came away from the connector - but went back in ok and were taped with a little strip of kapton to keep them in place
careful reassembly , and everything works :)
My Advice
watch out for the wifi cables!
also dont panic if you make a mess , usually you can fix it
