10$ PS5 Dualsense Controller Stick Drift Repair with Carbon Conductive Paint

My Problem

To not give sony 80$ for another controller that will just get stick drift again. And I really other people to do the same and save some money that's why I'm sharing it. It can also be done by a kid I'm sure who don't have much money and equipment which are the most affected by this issue.

My Fix

Very Good I applied The Paint to the parts where the Paint got scratched and used a needle to scratch off where I applied too much. Controller worked fine afterwards. You need a steady hand and some patience but it can be done under 2 minutes including letting the paint dry. The carbon paint pen costs like ~10$.

The trick with the pen is to write on another paper to have paint on it or push down slightly to make a little pain come out and then spread it with the tip. let it dry and remove the access with a needle. It does not seem to need to be a super clean job to work fine.

I've seen people replace the sticks which is far more expensive ~20$ for the sticks alone and assuming you own a soldering iron and have experience with it too.

Haven't seen anyone do this but it seemed like such an obvious fix when I saw the issue that causes stick drift.

My Advice

Bitcoin is traceable. Monero is not. Privacy protects freedom. The freedom to repair is not the only one under attack.
