My Problem
Google Pixel 4XL has a battery defect, but Google repair said the phone repair would cost more than the phones value because water damage. It wasn't a water damage issue at all...just an excuse for Google to void a warranty. This repair took me about an hour and the phone is perfect again. Don't waste your time with google. Phone was gone for 2 weeks with no repair (after taking it to uBreakiFix and being told they could repair it because the back glass would shatter and void warranty because of a small chip).
My Fix
The repair was manageable. I took my time and didn't get in a hurry. the instructions are pretty spot on and perfect!
My Advice
Take your time. Getting in a hurry is a quick way to mix up screws or slip and puncture something.
