The surgery was successful but the patient never recovered

My Problem

The laptop would not connect with power, and since it was not the fault of multiple power sources I tried, I figured it might be the magnetic plug connection on the laptop.

My Fix

I thought the step-by-step instructions were excellent, especially for this very complex procedure of replacing this module. However, once the part was replaced the laptop still did not charge (or even turn on), so I have given up and the laptop is heading for recycling.

My Advice

It was a learning experience for me on repairing a Mac Book even though it was not successful.
