My Problem
The problem was the incessive beach ball of death.
My Fix
The repair was surprisingly easier than expected. I had everything ready to go and well thought out. The longest part of the whole project was cloning the hard drive before hand.
My Advice
Stay focused and don't rush or force things. As long as you keep thinking about how much force you are applying and how your applying the force, then you should be ok.
