Camera replacement

My Problem

Interior lens broke on my rear facing camera. Had to replace the entire camera.

My Fix

Good! Never did a repair like this, just wrenched on cars. Not a tech but a 15 minute YouTube video and patience with the ribbons goes a long way.

My Advice

Be cautious with the ribbons, it’s hard because Apple designed it to be. They want your money for a repair, they don’t want you to do this on your own.
