I can't believe I did it! Samsung Tab A 8.0 repair.

My Problem

Tablet was starting to have trouble charging. Had to wiggle cable this way and that to get it to start and sometimes it would stop charging with no warning.

My Fix

The repair, following the instructions found here and in a YouTube video, went great. As noted, there is a 'hard' part where everything is disconnected and unscrewed, but you can't seem to get the board to release. Just slowly work your spudger type tool towards the 'stuck' area and POP it will come free.

My Advice

The biggest thing I can say is "You can do this"

The tiny screws are TINY!!! I ended up using a PH0000 driver to get them free.
