It's alright, I guess.

My Problem

Dropped it onto the concrete on the way home from school. Pieces of glass kept falling out of the phone, so I decided to fix it.

My Fix

It went pretty easy. Once I replaced the screen, however, the front facing camera wouldn't work, and the touchscreen was a bit spotty at times. After opening it back up and getting a better connection on the cables, I mostly got rid of the spotty touchscreen, but the camera still wouldn't work. Then when I was screwing the bracket covering the cables back on, one of the screw heads broke off. I decided to cut my losses and just put the whole thing back together. I guess it's better than it was before.

My Advice

Be careful with the screen cables and when screwing in those tiny screws. Don't snap off the heads or strip then.
