My Problem
The battery just wasn't holding its charge any longer.
My Fix
The repair went so-so. Mistakenly, on the first try, I thought I lost one of the 1.3mm screws and didn't fully connect one of the connections so when I turned the phone on all I saw was white squares and some vertical lines. With the second try, all was remedied as the lost screw had magnetized to the back of the screen and the connection was fully made.
My Advice
I would up wedging the battery out instead of using the step by step as I broke the adhesive strips pretty quickly so watch for that. Also, be mindful to make sure all connections are secure.
