Battery Replacement

My Problem

The battery on my MacBook Air had given out. The charge would say, "Service Battery Soon" but I didn't know I could replace the battery. I checked out the guide on iFixit's site and there was one! So I bought a new battery through iFixit.

My Fix

Once I got the battery in the mail, the replacement went flawlessly.

My Advice

Always check to see if you can replace a part before you give up on a device. Chances are, you can and it's cheaper to replace the part than replace the device.
