My Problem
I work in a Public School District. It is an urban district. Technology is not always treated with respect. I had a number of iPads, Desktops, and Chromebooks with 3.5mm pins stuck in the audio port.
My Fix
It took me a few tries the first time, it worked on all of my devices. I have used it numerous times.
My Advice
I can see why it is marketed as a one-time use. However, if you are careful, it can be re-used. Be careful with pliers. I even repaired the tool and continued to use it.
