Front panel was cracked/ broken
My Fix
The first screen I installed didn't go so good. I had a lot of trouble replacing the screen. It worked for one day and quit working completely after that. So I ordered another screen and that one was a piece of cake to replace. It only took me about 15 min. So I called Ifixit and told them what happened and they gave me my money back for the defective screen. Great people to deal with!! I'm definitely doing business with them again.
My Advice
If you follow their instructions, you should have a successful repair.
