My Problem
When the life span of the battery is finished you need to replace it.
My Fix
The repair was pretty easy given that I didn’t need to detached the screen panel. I had help keeping it upright while I was performing the repeir. The downside is that now there is a discolored frame on the screen, easily noticed with a white background like Mail and a little area with ghosting.
My Advice
I’ve read several reviews with similar problems, so be aware that while solving your battery problem you can get a screen one. If you can live with it, it’s worth the try. If not, just spend $40 extra and go to an Apple store. After seing the result, I’d have gone.

Change battery but HIGH RISK of SCREEN DAMAGE. The instructional video caused me to destroy my screen. THERE ARE SEVERAL LAYERS TO THE SCREEN and they do not bother to ZOOM IN and explicitly show where to pry correctly. Their tool easily fits where it should not - i.e. between the glass and where it should actually go, so instead of lifting the entire screen assembly you can EASILY PEEL OFF THE TOP SCREEN LAYER or separate it. INSTANTLY ruin the screen… so your new battery fix was worthless. And highly recommend the magnetic mat and doing this toward the middle of a large table - the small screws like to bounce and flip out of the hole when you are putting things together.
All in all, they should have spent more than 6 minutes on the instructional video. I’m very ticked off…
