Apple fix was 10x more expensive.

My Problem

Brought iPhone SE to Apple store to remove the tip of the ear phone plug. They couldn't remove it and wanted to replace the entire cell phone with a new one. My iPhone SE cost only $140 and Apple was going to replace it for $250. To think they didn't have the appropriate tool which cost only $30 with shipping. Rip offs. Lousy customer service.

My Fix

Within a moment of inserting the GripStick, there was a slight click sound and the tip immediately was released and removed. AWESOME!

My Advice

Apple should have purchased stock in the GripStick and stop ripping off customers who spend hundreds of dollars on their products. This is not the first head phone plug to break off and it won't be the last. Shame on Apple.
