My Macbook pro battery was swollen bulging up the trackpad & it was very slow.

My Fix

Pretty Smooth some of the screws were hard to loosen up.

My Advice

I was at first affraid of opening the computer to make the repairs & put it off for years . I wish I had done it sooner.
