My Problem
My son dropped his iPad and shattered his digitizer.
My Fix
The repair went really well. While I was in the device, and also replaced his aging battery!
My Advice
Definitely use good tools. Definitely use Kapton tape (1/4”) to tape the copper border on the digitizer to prevent grounding/ghosting issues.
