My Problem
Battery did not hold its charge through the day anymore. Due to Apples brilliant idea, since the battery was bad, the phone would lock up, slow down, freeze, restart, etc.
My Fix
I used a combination of the guide here, ifixit’s YouTube video, and a video from someone else. It went fairly well, except for when it came time to remove the battery. My adhesive strips did not come out in one piece (possibly my fault) so I had to carefully remove the battery another way. I do believe the instructions and picture for applying new strips to the new battery is wrong. This is where I had to find a different video.
My Advice
Make sure you remove the old adhesive strips carefully. And refer to other instructions for applying the new ones to the new battery, as I believe the step and picture in the guide here are incorrect.
