My Fix
It went well! A little more difficult than I expeted but the guides were a fundamental help with this repair- I would not have been able to complete it without them!
It was a bit tricky getting the Home button in place as well as the earpiece speaker and camera- but everything is completely functional on the phone! So happy! I used the essential kit- for ~$20, you can’t beat it! It also prepares me for any repairs/projects I have for the foreseeable future!
I’d recommend this kit even just as something to own, even if you’re not planning a repair. The magnetic box is amaxing
My Advice
Be very careful with the camera assembly and home button. Also make sure to remove the EMI shield if your replacement display didn’t come with one.
