Nexus 6 Battery Replacement

2 hours

Easy

My Problem

My phone's battery wasn't lasting as it used to, and it would shut off completely when it was around 10%.

My Fix

The only actual tedious/hard part of the repair was getting the back off.

My Advice

There is a cool trick when it comes to getting the back off. When you eject the SIM card, you can see a very tiny hole pointing in the direction of the back of the phone. If you take the included SIM ejector bit of the iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit, you can use it to push through the hole and actually make enough space for using the jimmy tool between the back panel. It didn't seem to do any type of damage, when using this method, but it is a option when you are having a hard time getting the back panel off.
