My Problem

Trackpad click difficulty

My Visa card was charged immediately

The order shipped the following day

Took 5 days from LA to Phoenix, 8 days altogether

Box and contents in perfect condition

Studied several different online procedures

Being an avid DIY freak whose impatience is exceded only by his laziness and

having a very compliant and capable wife, I rejected the overcomplicated and lengthy iFixit procedure and opted for:

“Repair: MacBook Pro 15, Late 2013 Battery Replacement [ENGLISH]”

Took 4 hr to discharge the old battery, 2 ½ hr to perform the procedure

Results exactly as shown in the video.

Very impressed with iFixit attention to detail, quality of the battery and tools, but they need to simplify their battery swap procedure.

So nice to have my trackpad clicking like new again!

This was our first experience with iFixit, but it will not be our last.

We have photos, but none differ from the views shown in the video enough to justify including them here.

We used 125# poly-braid fish line which we had on hand and worked perfectly.
