My Fix
The battery in my phone had degraded to an almost unusable point and required replacement. I didn’t want to go tot the Apple store and wait nor did I want to drive 35 miles to the store so I replaced it myself. The instructions and tools provided by ifixit were adequate for the repair although it was a little more difficult than it shows in the video. The adhesive strips provided to hold the battery in place we’re easy to use although the adhesive that is used to help keep the top and bottom assemblies together was somewhat challenging, otherwise anyone with a mechanical ability should be able to accomplish the replacement. Be careful with removing and reseating the cables, be very gentle or you could easily damage them.
