My Problem
My iPhone is now three years old and the battery has lost much of its integrity. I actually dislike the new iPhone products and other phones available by other manufacturers; so my only option in my mind is to repair my 6s. The old battery did not hold a full charge for long and was causing the phone to slow down.
My Fix
My repair is successful so far. The phone started up and my battery had a 50% charge out of the box. I have an app that tells me the integrity of the battery and it read 100% (my old battery's integrity would only read 83% even when iOS reported 100% charge. The phone is noticeably smoother in terms of its operation such as switching between apps or using any apps.
My Advice
Read the entire guide on how to do it and familiarize yourself with the process of taking it apart AND putting it back together. It makes the job easier. Patience is the key!
