My Problem
Battery had gone bad, I figured this out because it would work only on a charger. Saw the crazy bill that apple charges for a replacement and decided to try this fix myself.
My Fix
Once I saw the method and understood where the hinges were it really wasn't that bad. I watched a few YouTube videos that really added to this and took away me being scared of doing it. I used a box cutter and some guitar picks to open and hold open the case. Then followed the instructions from there.
My Advice
Just take your time and dont force anything. It's really not as difficult as some people say if you just do not rush it. My iPod has a a few knicks in the side of it after using the box blade, but it wasn't necessary to bend or ruin the case. Again! Take your time!
