Moderate

My Problem

Like everyone else, slowed iPhone 6 due to old battery.

My Fix

Having replaced other components previously (GPS, WiFi) overall repair was fairly straightforward. I replaced the battery on two phones. Instructions given on the site are adequate, aside from this: Do yourself a huge favor and heat up the battery side of the phone with a rice sock BEFORE you start pulling out the adhesive strips on the underside of the battery! The first battery replacement took an hour because of the difficulty in removing the strips. The second replacement took less than 15 minutes.

My Advice

Do yourself a huge favor and heat up the battery side of the phone with a rice sock BEFORE you start pulling out the adhesive strips on the underside of the battery! The first battery replacement took an hour because of the difficulty in removing the strips. The second replacement took less than 15 minutes.
