Should've fixed it a year ago.

My Problem

Headphone jack had gotten loose, and would drop audio to the headset constantly. Certain headphones were completely unusable.

My Fix

If you can build a PC from scratch, you can swap out the headphone jack. It's a tricky repair, but absolutely doable. The difference is night and day.

My Advice

Disconnecting/reconnecting the motherboard connectors was the trickiest part, especially reconnecting everything.
