Simple replacement - guide & kit were excellent

My Problem

Defective battery - no charge / no power without AC plugged in.

My Fix

Much quicker than in the guide - used an infinitesimally small fraction of the solvent provided (maybe 2ml per side) and the glue softened immediately. Used alcohol cleaning pads to remove the residue.

My Advice

Use a tiny, tiny amount of the solvent provided. The bottle provided is enough to remove another 50 batteries. Assemble and do a power on test of the new battery before you remove the adhesive tabs to permanently affix it, just in case you get a DOA replacement.
