Granddaughter dropped it and cracked the screen
My Fix
The repair went fairly smooth . Difficult getting the cracked glass off . Your instructions only show removing an intact glass . So a cracked glass can get messy and time consuming , but doable with patience .
My Advice
If glue gets on LCD , I found that it is easily removed with an alcohol pad then use an eyeglass cleaning cloth and spray to clean .
I used a hair blow dryer instead of the heat bag because I needed to keep reheating sections of cracked glass . Also used exacto knife to get glue off frame .
