My Problem
The battery on my iPhone 4S was weak and didn't hold a charge. It had to be replaced.
My Fix
The replacement of the battery was very easy.
My Advice
Watch the iFixit video first and make sure you're up to the task. Also you'll NEED the proper tools. So make sure you get the tool kit with your battery. You'll never get the case open without the "star" screw driver bit. iFixit also provides a "liberation kit" which replaces the "star" screws with Philips head screws. The screw driver shaft provides the magnetism required to gingerly place the screws into the screw holes. Forget about trying to do it manually. You'll also need the plastic pry bar to lift the battery connection off its seat and to separate the battery carefully from the adhesive holding it down.
