My son's Tab 4 wasn't charging, so I tried repairing with the cheaper possibility first (the battery).

My Advice
For those of you who are "champions of breaking those little plastic tabs" like I am, I highly recommend the opening tool. So simple, yet it got me in the tablet in no time, without any damage to it.
