My Problem
I have had 2 iPhone 5s since launch. Batteries were shot and fixing was a better option than replacement.
My Fix
The repairs were straight forward. No issues, despite this being my first time.
My Advice
Read the full instructions on iFixit before starting. Then go step by step. If you didn't spring for the dual suction cup wonder tool, a slack zip tie is you best bet when cracking the case ope . The amount of force required to open the phone will most certainly cause a break in the home button ribbon cable if you don't take steps to keep from over opening.
