Tools insufficient

My Problem

I bought it used and the battery would only last a couple hours and would die without warning.

My Fix

It took a long time, and the plastic spacer tools turned out to be useless cause they were too thick. I didn't use the putty knife technique, I used a box cutter to open it up to get the spudger in to release the clips.

My Advice

The plastic tools aren't thin enough to actually get into the iPod. Make sure you check out a bunch of different repair methods before starting to open it up.
