My Problem

My display had a vertical line in the center

My Fix

The repair went smoothly

My Advice

Follow the manual, Take your time removing the connectors, sort the removed screws into containers, and have some good tape on hand to reinstall the labels and heat sink covers. Also use something to protect the new display when you unfold its hinges, I used an old credit card.
