Replaced bulging battery
My Fix
Pretty straightforward, the screws holding the battery and display connector reinforcements are very tiny. I lost two to the carpet abyss, be very careful with them. The phone I fixed is not my daily driver, so I had no problem putting everything back together without the errant screws. Everything works fine without them.
My Advice
If I had one of those table top magnifiers with a built in light, it may have made the process a bit easier, but I completed the task without it. Keep an eye on those screws!
